Allow us to fill you in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discovering new cultures can boost your career<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you really want to win over prospective employers, or possibly current ones, you might want to go and get some real word experience. In 2013, a <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1177\/1948550613515005\">major study<\/a> focusing on the job market for International Business students found that those who immersed themselves in other cultures had a far better chance of landing their dream job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science says adventuring makes you sexier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s true. Research conducted for dating giants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elitedaily.com\/dating\/adventurous-people-more-attractive\/1956442\">Match.com<\/a> found 85 per cent of singles on its database agreed that a sense of adventure made a potential date extremely attractive. Speaking of the findings, Dr. Helen Fisher, Chief Scientific Advisor for Match \u2013 so you know they\u2019re not messing around \u2013 said: &#8220;Novelty triggers the dopamine system in the brain to make you feel alert, focused, energetic, optimistic\u2026and often romantic, making one&#8217;s sense of adventure the ultimate aphrodisiac.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/adventure-trips\/finland-digital-detox\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11635\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/finland-travel-dating.jpg\" alt=\"finland travel\" width=\"2464\" height=\"1632\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>No, like really sexy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another major dating website, <a href=\"http:\/\/travel.cnn.com\/sydney\/visit\/travel-makes-you-sexy-says-new-study-497264\/\">RSVP.com<\/a>, once surveyed 882 Aussie adults about their turn-ons and turn-offs, with interviewees believing the bigger the adventurer the sexier that person would appear, with \u2018daring travellers\u2019 voted by singles as the most enticing of all potential partners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning other languages expands your brain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Smashing a few Duolingo quizzes on the Tube may be doing more than ensuring you can order a coffee abroad without fear of embarrassment. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-3164163\/It-s-official-Speaking-one-language-makes-smarter-Bilingual-people-grey-matter-know-mother-tongue.html\">Scientists have found<\/a> that being bilingual increases the size of the part of the brain responsible for attention span and short-term memory. Scarlett Johansson feeding you grapes in Tuscany? Think again &#8211; the sexiest way to see the world is to travel solo. Just think of those experiences you\u2019ll enjoy: making new friends, achieving new goals, arriving home in an amazing frame of mind.
